Hospice & family support

Bethell Hospice Foundation

Bethell Hospice Foundation raises funds for compassionate hospice care in Inglewood, Ontario, and support for people facing a life-limiting illness. Its fundraising helps sustain residential care, community outreach and bereavement services, supporting comfort and dignity for residents, community clients and their families at a difficult time.

SOS Children’s Villages Canada

SOS Children’s Villages Canada supports children and young people who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. Working through an international network, it helps provide stable family care, strengthen families and improve access to education, healthcare and the support children need to grow.

Caledon Community Services

Caledon Community Services responds to local needs through programs that support health, employment and everyday well-being. Its work includes food support, accessible transportation, services for older adults and help finding work. Across Caledon, these practical connections help residents of different ages participate in community life and maintain independence.

Covenant House Toronto

Covenant House Toronto supports young people experiencing homelessness, trafficking or other serious challenges. Its services connect immediate needs such as shelter, meals and healthcare with longer-term housing, education, employment and counselling. Prevention, research and advocacy complement this direct support, helping young people move towards safety, stability and independence.

Good Shepherd Ministries

Good Shepherd Ministries supports people experiencing homelessness and poverty in Toronto. Alongside meals and shelter, its services include housing support, addiction recovery, healthcare and assistance for homeless veterans. Supportive residences provide additional care for people with complex needs, with an emphasis on hospitality, respect and human dignity.

Heart & Stroke

Heart & Stroke advances research, prevention and care related to heart disease and stroke in Canada. It works with researchers, healthcare professionals and communities to improve emergency response, strengthen treatment and help people recognize risks and warning signs. Education and advocacy support its work to improve health outcomes.

Hockey Helps the Homeless

Hockey Helps the Homeless brings players, volunteers and supporters together through charity hockey events. The funds raised support local agencies working with people experiencing homelessness. Its community approach connects the energy of the sport with practical help, including housing and the support people need to build greater stability.

Humanitarian Coalition

The Humanitarian Coalition brings Canadian aid organizations together to respond to international emergencies. Breakthrough T1D Canada

Formerly JDRF Canada

Breakthrough T1D Canada, formerly JDRF Canada, funds research and advocates for people living with type 1 diabetes. Its work supports progress towards cures while addressing the challenges people face today. Research, community resources and advocacy connect the needs of children and adults with advances in treatment and care.

Missionaries of Charity

The Missionaries of Charity are a Catholic religious community founded by Mother Teresa in 1950. Their sisters provide free care for people experiencing extreme poverty, illness, homelessness and abandonment. The community serves people across faiths and backgrounds, offering practical and spiritual support through its houses and local outreach.

Therapeutic riding & inclusion

Pride Stables

Pride Stables, home of the Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program, offers therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities. Serving Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and the surrounding region, it combines trained horses, instructors and volunteers in a supportive setting. Its riding and inclusive camp opportunities encourage personal growth, participation and connection.

ShareLife

ShareLife is the charitable appeal of the Archdiocese of Toronto. It supports Catholic agencies serving people facing poverty, isolation and other challenges, including families, seniors, newcomers and people with disabilities. Through this network, its fundraising helps connect people with counselling, practical assistance and community support when they need it.

St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation brings donors and volunteers together to support patient care, research and innovation. Toronto Wildlife Centre

Toronto Wildlife Centre rescues, treats and rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. UrbanPromise Toronto

UrbanPromise Toronto supports children, youth and young adults through a Christian approach to community development.
